Top 5 Travel and Local Apps Performance in Slovakia - Q4 2021

The fourth quarter of 2021 saw diverse performance metrics for Slovakia's top travel and local apps on a unified platform. Here’s a closer look at the trends for the top 5 apps according to Sensor Tower data.

Dopravná karta v mobile experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting with approximately 2.8K in late September and dropping to around 759 by mid-December. However, there was a notable rebound in the final week of December, reaching about 1.2K downloads.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel had a relatively stable download pattern with some fluctuations. Downloads began at around 1.4K in late September, dipped to approximately 780 in late November, and then surged to 1.9K by the end of December. Weekly active users showcased a mild decline from 43K to roughly 37K through November but rebounded to nearly 42.9K in the last week of December.

Ideme vlakom saw a consistent decline in downloads throughout the quarter. Starting at around 1.8K in late September, the app's downloads decreased to roughly 660 by early December, with a slight recovery to 855 by the end of the quarter.

Google Earth had steady download numbers, ranging from about 775 to 1.3K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at around 8K in late September and ending the quarter with approximately 7.9K.

ISIC experienced a significant drop in weekly downloads from approximately 2.8K in late September to around 380 by the end of December. Active users also showed a downward trend, starting at about 7K and falling to approximately 2.7K by the end of the quarter.
